Data Collected
When you create an account on cardistry.org, we collect your name, email address, and profile information you choose to provide. Account authentication is handled by Clerk, Inc. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used in order to improve the platform.
How We Use It
Your information is used to operate the platform, communicate with you about your membership, and send the ICA newsletter (with your consent). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third Parties
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: Clerk (authentication and user management), Supabase (database and storage), Stream Chat (direct and group messaging), Daily.co (video calls), Cloudflare (video and image hosting for the archive), Stripe (payment processing for Fellowship support and donations), DeepL (on-demand translation of text you choose to translate), and Vercel (application hosting). Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their use of data, and each receives only the data necessary to perform its function.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. Authentication cookies are set by Clerk and are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@cardistry.org. Members may also delete their account directly from their profile settings.
